News Supply Contract, Engineering Services Agreement and Credit Agreement have been signed on 14. and 15. August, 2007. The turkish Undersecretariat of Treasury accepted the Credit Agreements on Jan.23, 2008. This secures the full project financing. DSI approved the Construction Contract on Nov.28, 2007. Construction works and Implementation of environmental measures are in the startup phase The Construction Consortium concluded already some one hundred employment contracts with PAP (Project Affected People). The first site visit of the CoE took place between Nov. 28 and Dec. 10, 2007. Participants were DSI and representatives of the involved Ministries. Main goal was due coordination of the environmental measures before CCF (Contract Coming into Force) date. The second site visit of the CoE Subcommittees for Environment and Resettlement took place in May and June, 2008. Participants were DSI and representatives of the involved Ministries.
